Discipline and General Behavior

1.  Every student shall see that a studious, healthy and disciplined atmosphere prevails in the classrooms as well as on campus.

2.  Students shall greet   their teachers   on meeting   them   first  for the day within the premises of the College, and whenever they meet them in public.

3.  Students shall seek entry into the college campus by 08.15 am. Those who come late shall not enter the main building during the course of lectures. They shall seek entry only after the bell for the next lecture.

4.   Students shall not roam about, wasting time and making unhealthy comments or causing chaos in the college premises, or in the lobbies during working hours.

5.   Use of threat or violence against the members of the staff or fellow students shall be considered a very serious offence and a case of misconduct.

6.  Students shall not use tobacco, pan and drugs on campus and those who either possess them or use them will face immediate dismissal.

7.  No student, without the authorization of the Principal, may claim to represent the College in any organizations of students or at any political or civic groups whatsoever.

8.  A modest dress code that suite our culture is enforced. Casual wears or revealing dress are totally banned on the college campus.

9.  All the students shall handle the College property with care, and help maintain the campus neat and tidy. They should not scribble on the furniture or walls. Any damage or destruction of college property shall be punishable individually or collectively as the case may be.

10.Students should bring their Identity card to college every day. No student without Identity Card is expected to be on campus.

11.Students who have legitimate grievances may present them to the Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) personally. Any other modes of protest, like signature campaigns or protest meetings is strictly prohibited.

12.No clubs or associations are to be formed in the College without the prior permission from the Principal.

13. Use of cell phones is strictly prohibited inside the college building. The students themselves are solely responsible for the safe custody of their cell phones and other valuables, in case they bring them to the college.

14. The movement of vehicles on the College campus shall be slow and students shall park their vehicles in the area allotted to them for the purpose.

15.Christites must be known for their noble behavior and refined manners. This must be reflected in their words and deeds both inside and outside of the college. When they visit other Colleges/Institutions for competitions, programmes etc., they must respect the authorities concerned and refrain from any action that may disturbs the order and discipline of the place.

16.Students shall cooperate with the discipline committee members to create and sustain a studious atmosphere in the classrooms as well as on campus.

17.They shall adopt a courteous approach towards visitors or guests in the college premises

18.Those students, who are guilty of serious misconduct that is detrimental to the order and discipline of the college, are liable to be expelled.
